Built by a stylist who never forgot what it felt like to start.
YS Cosmetology Academy began with Yahaira Sepulveda and a chair, a mirror, and a stubborn belief that talent in the Rio Grande Valley deserved training as serious as the ambition behind it. Years behind the chair taught her the business the hard way — and showed her too many gifted stylists with technique but no direction.
So she built the school she wished had existed. Small classes. Real hours on real clients. Bilingual from day one, because the Valley speaks two languages and no one should have to learn their craft in the harder one.
